The Next Big Thing

When it rains, it pours, and for us when life changes, it really changes. Not even six weeks on from the birth of our son, the three of us spent three days on I-80 heading out to Ann Arbor, Michigan. The thought of leaving Utah was a little more difficult to swallow than we expected. We had just started our little family, I had a great job with Qualtrics, our ward was wonderful, and we absolutely loved our place in Lindon. About 2 weeks before Emre came, Alastair applied for a job with Google and was advancing in the interview stages. About mid-February, he needed to fly out for an interview, which made me nervous because I was afraid that Alastair would miss the arrival of our first child. So thank heavens Emre arrived two weeks before Alastair had his interview. It all worked out! And now,
