ALASTAIR + LALEINIA

Kudos to Alastair for attempting to fix the brakes on our car! The brake pads were wearing out and we knew that it was time for the change. Most people would send their cars straight to the mechanic, but not the McKee's. After getting off work, Alastair went and grabbed new brake pads to face his new challenge. Once he got home, he watched a video on how to change them. It seemed so simple. A successful brake change that should have been accomplished within 15 minutes. Unfortunately, our brakes were not to be changed and fixed within 15 minutes. About three hours later, the first brake was done, eight or so minutes later, the other was done too and the tires were placed back on the car. We tested the brakes as we drove off to pick up some "thank you" ice cream. A BIG shout out to father Jankowski for helping Alastair, thank you! I don't know what I'm getting myself into! We haven't posted in a while, mostly because we haven't been up to much! Work and life has become the norm. Alastair is working for a marketing company, and since some of the contractors did not end up delivering some papers, the company needed some help, so we did it! As you can see, the bagged papers filled up almost all of the car! We were out for about 8 hours doing the route, long day, but after all is said and done, it was... an experience!

One year ago a young man in love bent down on one knee and pulled out a flawless 6 prong yellow gold solitaire and asked the love of his life to marry him. Tears of joy streamed down her face as she said "yes." The only witness was a goose that left a little present on the frozen banks of the river.
