Emre has always been fascinated with lights. Even when he was a few weeks old, we would have to divert the light bulbs in our lamps cause he would just stare straight into them.
When Alastair bought the tickets for lantern fest, we knew that Emre would love it! And he did!
We chilled on our blanket for an hour or two before it got dark, drew on our lanterns, and then we light up our lanterns around 8:30. We held them until they filled up with hot air and then released them! Emre looked up with his big brown eyes the whole time, watching all the lanterns float away. We all had such a wonderful time!
