Real Salt Lake

While we were working, Alastair received a message asking if he wanted two free tickets to a Real Salt Lake game. He had to check with the boss, and I said yes! It’s not too often that you can score some free tickets, even if it’s during the workweek. I’ve become somewhat of an old lady, cherishing my 8 hours of sleep. But hey, it’s football, and I need to live a little!

If you know us, we LOVE football! We’ll have legit conversations about gossip transfers, potential buys for Liverpool, and how effective Liverpool will be this upcoming season. It’s pretty intense with our love for this club! We know the ins and outs of European football. But when it comes to soccer in America, we fizzle out. We can only name a few American players, but football is football, so we went anyways!

It was so fun to be part of a crowd that is so passionate about a team that has only been around for 9 years. We had some really good seats; “the kop” for RSL. Men were chanting, beer was spilt, and flags waved whenever RSL scored a goal. It was fun scouting out the talent and eyeing the key players during that game, especially Beckerman; solid player.

The chants were stuck in our heads for a few days, which made us want to go back for more. This definitely won’t be our last game to watch, we’ll be back!
