Season's Fleetings

Since Alastair is in Pocatello on some business class excursion and he woke me up really early and we haven't written in a while, I thought I'd give this blog thing a try!
We officially have no place to call home. We are vagabonds, or nomads, whatever term you prefer! Personally, I prefer the word vagabond because I have no home and no job. Yesterday was my last shift putting away books and more books at D.I. When Alastair and I were both working, I joked that I was doing more manual labor than him (Alastair sat in front of a computer while I lifted many heavy objects and was constantly on my feet). Nonetheless we both pulled our weight and helped each other out financially!
Another thing in our life is finishing up this week...SCHOOL! Let me just say, I am so ecstatic that school is almost done! We have been so busy with projects, class trips, laminating, print jobs, tests, etc. Alastair is such a smart cookie and it amazes me! Words cannot describe how intelligent he is. I feel like when I have a test I have to study for hours and destroy my brain just to get a decent grade while he can just sharpen his pencil, walk in the testing center, fill in the bubble sheet, walk out, and get a 130%. I don't get it. Of course this is an exaggeration and he does study, but he is really smart!
We also finished planning our future. Yesterday, in between classes, we visited many offices across campus to figure out everything. When I mean everything, I mean EVERYTHING! We spoke to someone about his internship. We spoke to someone about my deferment and changing tracks. We spoke to someone about my revised grad plan. We spoke to someone about a study abroad program. EVERYTHING! But we got it all done and our future is set! I am so excited for what the future is going to bring, especially 2012! I don't want to reveal what's going to happen. In due time, we'll let you know!
That's what has been going on in our life, just wrapping up our stay in Rexburg. Up next: Utah, Nevada, then California! Happiness.
